Cool as Ice! motogadget has reimagined the essential turn signal into a technically sophisticated, LED mounted design statement with the mo.blaze ice. It appears very subtle and inconspicuous due to the transparent, scratch resistant plastic body, but it is solid with the small billet aluminum base available in anodized black. The turn signal fits all styles, paint finishes and the most diverse of motorcycles.
Thanks to TranzLight-Technology® (TLT, patent pending) from motogadget, the transparent body of the turn signal itself becomes the light medium. TranzLight-Technology® cleverly uses the total reflection of light waves. This lighting innovation is not limited to miniaturization of turn signal housings, but using a clear crystal-like plastic body engineers the light placement. Only precise optical CAD calculations and state-of-the-art manufacturing processes make this novel design and its function possible. The light flux required for the TranzLight principle is generated by the motogadget's intensiLED® process and consists of three important components three important components:
- Selected high power LEDs with maximum efficiency and a total power of 7W with a lifetime of more than 50,000 hrs.
- An IC controlled constant current regulation clocked at 330kHz.
- Special collimator optics, which forces parallel beams of LED light precisely into the plastic body.
An important aspect of the TranzLight technology is the safety due to the improved visibility of the flashing signal. The light is emitted at an angle of almost 180° and is therefore visible from the front, rear and side. The surface-mounted flasher is mechanically decoupled from the mounting thread by means of a flexible absorber and is thus protected from vibration and mechanical affects. The flasher can be operated with load resistors or all of our load-independent flasher relays (mo.flash, mo.wave, mo.stop, mo.relay+), just like any conventional LED flasher. The surface-mounted flasher mo.blaze ice presented here has an E-mark and is approved as a front and rear flasher.
