The motoscope tiny is an analog speedometer that measures the speed digitally and displays it precisely via a stepper motor and pointer. With an installation diameter of 49 mm/1.93" and the installation depth of only 24 mm/0.95", the motoscope tiny opens up a wide range of possibilities for installation. The three different design variants provide stylish options to express the look of the bike - a perfect solution for purists and minimalists.
Housing
The high-quality aluminum housing is CNC turned from billets and its surface is black anodized. The screw ring is available black anodized, or mirror polished. The housing is 100% waterproof and insensitive to vibration.
Display
The analog dial with black and white contrast is indirectly illuminated by white LEDs. Hidden behind the black part of the dial is an innovative LED display that only shines through the dial when in operation and is not visible when switched off. The brightness of the LEDs is automatically adjusted to achieve optimal readability in dark, sunny and twilight conditions. If the 200 km/h (mph) on the analog scale is exceeded, the speed is automatically shown on the LED display. The maximum speed is also stored. The 4 indicator lights (blue, red, 2 x green) are integrated in the dial. These also only become visible during operation.
Operation
With the supplied menu button or to the light/horn button, one can switch between the displays. The main indication on the display is the time. If required, the values for total km or miles, trip mileage, on-board voltage, etc. are displayed by briefly pressing the button. All functions, such as resetting the trip odometer or similar, are easy to operate via the pushbutton. Pre-settings or stored values remain saved even without power supply.
Installation
The motoscope tiny is easy to mount using the two M3 threaded bushings on the back. We offer various brackets for mounting.
Connection and sensors
Even if you aren't familiar with motorcycle electrics, the detailed instructions and operating instructions makes installation possible. The supplied stainless steel speedometer sensor is small (M5/23 mm) and easy to hide and with the 1.5 m / 59" long connection cable it can be easily attached to the front or rear wheel. Even bikes with the original mechanical speedometers can be easily converted to it - the motoscope tiny is compatible with many original equipment manufacturer's speedometer sensors (reed contact and proximity sensors). In these cases, only connections are needed and the mechanical installation of a sensor is no longer necessary. An intelligent 'teach function' enables the simple calibration of the speedometer - even for bikes with sensors on the transmission, such as Harley Davidson™.
